Over time, we’ve welcomed adventurers as young as 5 and as spirited as 105 to embark on our parasailing experiences. For participants under 18, a parent or guardian’s signature on the liability waiver is required.
2-3 people can fly at the same time, however, restrictions may apply depending on weight and wind conditions; ultimately it’s the captain’s decision. The minimum combined weight is 130lbs and the maximum combined weight is about 450-550 lbs. Weight requirements change daily due to wind conditions and are subject to Captain’s approval.

While our parasailing experience involves take-off and landing from our boat, we want to highlight the possibility of a slight chance of touching or landing in the water. As a precautionary measure, we strongly advise securing all valuables safely on the boat before your flight.
For your convenience, we recommend bringing along a towel and a change of clothes. Although rare, this preparation ensures your comfort in the event of any unexpected water contact during the adventure.
Your safety and enjoyment are our priorities, and these precautions are merely to enhance your overall experience.

During winter months, it might get a bit chilly, so bringing along a sweatshirt and pants allows you to layer up for optimal comfort.

For added assurance, our parasailing boats undergo thorough annual inspections by the US Coast Guard. Additionally, all crew members are enrolled in a random drug testing program, further ensuring a safe and responsible operation at all times. Your safety and peace of mind are our utmost priorities.

Refunds are available for cancellations that are made up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time (subject to -10% cancellation fee, online booking fees are not returned). Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. There are no refunds or rebooking for late arrival/no-show, including unused tickets.

It is not a requirement that one know how to swim. All parasailers are required to wear life vests.

In instances where unforeseen circumstances such as unsafe seas or inclement weather necessitate the cancellation of your flight with Santa Barbara Parasail, rest assured that we prioritize your safety above all else.
In such cases, you will be offered the option to reschedule to another date or to cancel a full refund, inclusive of booking fees, will be promptly issued to ensure fairness and transparency in our commitment to our guests’ satisfaction. Your comfort and safety remain our foremost concern, and we’re dedicated to ensuring a hassle-free experience even in unforeseen circumstances.
